Terms and Condition, Cancellation and Refund

At Explore Chongqing with Li, we prioritize transparency and strive to provide our travelers with a seamless and enjoyable experience. This page outlines our booking conditions and policies, ensuring you have all the information you need to confidently plan your journey with us. We understand that travel plans can change, and we're committed to offering flexible terms whenever possible to provide you with peace of mind and the best possible travel experience.

Itinerary and Pricing Notes

  • Itinerary Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, itineraries may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight/train schedule adjustments, government regulations, or improvements to enhance your travel experience. We will notify you promptly of any significant changes.

  • Pricing: Prices are based on current costs and exchange rates at the time of inquiry. They are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.

  • Reservations:

    • Deposit: A deposit of 40% of tour price per person is required to secure your reservation. The deposit will go towards your trip costs and will be taken off your final balance amount

    • Final Payment: Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

    • Cancellation: If full payment is not received 60 days before departure, Explore Chongqing with Li reserves the right to cancel the tour and retain the deposit.

  • Pricing Basis: Tour prices are per person, based on double occupancy.

Cancellation and Refund

Your balance payment will be due 60 days prior to your departure. If travel restrictions stop you from traveling after this time, we’ll do our best to recover any costs. If you decide to cancel for other reasons after this time, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • More than 60 days prior to trip departure:
    100% Deposit will be given back to you.

  • Between 45 – 60 days prior to trip departure:
    80% of total tour price will be given back to you.

  • Between 30 – 45 Days:
    50% of total tour price will be given back to you.

  • Less than 30 days prior to trip departure:
    No refund

  • After trip departure:
    No refund

By paying the deposit, you accept Explore Chongqing with Li Terms and Conditions.

Insurance

  • All travelers must provide proof of comprehensive travel insurance, including medical coverage, before trip departure.

  • For your convenience, we can assist purchasing travel insurance and emergency assistance services, covering medical emergencies, including COVID-19, and security threats.

Passport & Visas

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport (with at least six months of validity beyond your trip dates) and all necessary visas for your travel dates.

  • Failure to obtain the correct visas may result in denied entry and trip cancellation.

  • Explore Chongqing with Li is not responsible for any visa application denials or entry refusals.

Traveler Responsibilities

  • Trip Suitability: Travelers are responsible for selecting trips that are suitable for their physical abilities and interests.

  • Health and Fitness: Travelers must be in good health and physical condition to undertake the trip.

  • Trip Preparation:

    • Travelers are responsible for reviewing the trip itinerary, pre-departure information, and adhering to any recommended clothing and equipment guidelines.

    • Travelers are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance.

  • Personal Responsibility: Travelers are responsible for their own safety and security during the trip.

Explore Chongqing with Li's Responsibilities

  • Service Provision: Explore Chongqing with Li will strive to provide the highest quality travel services within its capacity.

  • Trip Organization: Explore Chongqing with Li organizes and sells travel programs that may include transportation, accommodation, and excursions.

  • Third-Party Providers: Explore Chongqing with Li utilizes independent contractors (such as transportation and accommodation providers) to deliver certain services.

  • Limited Liability: Explore Chongqing with Li is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, including delays, cancellations, or service disruptions.

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: Explore Chongqing with Li is not liable for events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Pre-Trip Expenses: Explore Chongqing with Li is not responsible for pre-trip expenses incurred by travelers, such as non-refundable air tickets, visa fees, or travel insurance.

Claims

  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the services provided by Explore Chongqing with Li will be initially addressed through friendly consultation between the parties.

Knowing and Voluntary Execution

I have carefully read and fully understand the booking conditions, especially noting those regarding cancellation and refund policies, limitation of liability, and responsibility borne by the participants. I have also read and understood the itineraries of the trip I am booking.
