Hanghang is truly the best! I had the most incredible experience on a 5-day tour of Chongqing. We saw so much: from the viral TikTok spots and vi brant city nightlife to hidden gems, historic sites, mountaintop temples, breathtaking gorges, and even pandas 🐼
I usually prefer researching and planning my own trips, but I’m so glad I had the support of Explore Chongqing with Li for this one. Although everyone we met was so welcoming, navigating the language, cultural, and even technological barrier was difficult without local insight, especially as a first-time traveler to China. Hanghang took care of everything: the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, guides, and meals. She even provided detailed pre-trip information that helped everything go smoothly from the start.
One of my personal highlights was the food. As a vegan who loves exploring local cuisines, I was so impressed and grateful for the thoughtful attention Hanghang gave to making sure I could have a full culinary experience. I’m still dreaming about the (vegan!) hot pot and spicy chili noodles!
You can really feel Hanghang’s love for Chongqing. She is so about sharing her city with others, and it made the entire experience even more special. This tour was honestly incredible — probably one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. Everything was so well thought out and organized, and it made a huge difference. We got to see pandas, explore beautiful gorges, visit peaceful Buddhist temples, eat amazing hotpot, and check out some of the most photogenic (and yes, TikTok-famous) spots in Chongqing.
A big thank you to Hanghang, who organized the entire thing with such care and attention to detail. She handled every aspect of the trip and gave us really clear instructions at each step. It was so nice not having to worry about logistics — we could just relax and enjoy the experience.
The whole trip felt very authentic, like something you couldn’t easily put together on your own. Every stop felt meaningful, and it all flowed really well. I came away with so many great memories. If you're thinking about visiting Chongqing, I can't recommend this enough.

The tour covered all the viral spots and so much more. Chongqing is a place where you can find everything from cyberpunk spots to stunning nature to rich history. The guides, the accommodations, the food - everything went completely beyond my expectations and I still think about it. If you're curious about exploring this city and don’t want to miss a thing, I can't recommend Explore Chongqing with Li enough!

This was by far one of the best things we could have done for our stay in Chongqing. It was a boys trip to China and all of our first time. From the very moment I got in contact with Hanghang, she was just amazing. Walking me every step of the way and checking up on me frequently, and answering any questions I had. Once the day of the tour came, we got picked up at our hotel lobby by our tour guide Hao , who was the best tour guide any of us have had. He was super kind and knowledgeable, continually made sure throughout the day that all of us were enjoying ourselves and didn’t need anything. Long story short, Hao became a friend. I give this tour a 1000/10 and definitely recommend, especially if it’s your first time in Chongqing. Thanks again Hanghang and Hao! Xie xie!
